If you have not read the bible, you may not know what the tribulation is. The bible mentions it is a period of destruction like the world has never experiences. God will pour out his wrath on the earth through seven seals, trumpets, and bowls depicted in the book of Revelation. This represent the final judgments of God that are poured out on an unbelieving world in the end times.
"Revelation Chapter 13: verse 16: Also, it causes all, both small and great, both rich and poor, both free and slave, to be marked on the right hand or the forehead, so that no one can buy or sell unless he has the mark, that is, the name of the beast or the number of its name. This calls for wisdom: let the one who has understanding calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man, and his number is 666.".
It is argued amongst Christians if the seven year tribulation of the prophetic end times is a true interpretation. In fact, this futurist view is not the most popular and most believed amongst Christians today. The idea of a seven year tribulation comes from a misinterpretation of Daniel chapter 9 which is a prophecy about the Messiah, not the antichrist or a seven year tribulation.
The seven seals, trumpets, and bowls depicted in the book of Revelation represent the final judgments of God that are poured out on an unbelieving world in the end times. These judgements are poured out during the tribulation period which is believed to be during the last 3 1/2 years of the Tribulation

Are your loves ones already in Heaven or Hell? Most believe that when a person dies they go straight to Heaven or Hell, but The Bible teaches that Jesus will return a second time for judgment, which includes the resurrection of the dead and the final separation of the righteous and the wicked. The key passages that address this include 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17, which says, "the dead in Christ will rise first," and Revelation 20:12-13, which speaks of the final judgment of the dead.
God has given humans free will, and this freedom allows people to make choices that can lead to suffering, either for themselves or others. God does not always intervene because He respects the free will He granted to humanity.
There are so many Bibles out there, you may wondering which one do I choose? If you have never read the Bible you should choose the The New Living Translation (NLT) or the English Standard Version (ESV) both are easy-to-read translations that stay fairly close to the original texts.

I firmly believe that we are now closer than ever to the return of Christ, whether one believes it or not. The bible has many prophecies predicting future events that will come into play. Some believe that a third Jewish temple will be rebuilt in Jerusalem, based on passages like Daniel 9:27 and 2 Thessalonians 2:4. Many see this as a key event that must occur before certain end-time prophecies are fulfilled.
