Who are the Nephilim?

If you dont read the bible or keep up with whats going on you may have never heard of the Nephilim. If you do read the bible then you may ask how did the Nephilim return after the flood, didn't God destroy the everyone on earth in noah's day? Here is what the bible says.
In the Hebrew Bible, Genesis 6:4 reads as follows: The Nephilim were in the earth in those days, and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bore children to them; the same were the mighty men that were of old, the men of renown. 

This story has traditionally been looked at as a story of angels transgressing the boundary between heaven and earth and mingling illicitly with human women.

Genesis often portrays angels in very human ways. The angels described in Genesis 6:1-4 can both copulate and procreate with human women, giving them undeniably human characteristics. In Genesis 18 and 19, angels accept human hospitality and eat human food. And the angel in Genesis 32 uses a human form to wrestle with Jacob on even footing.

The Nephilim were born from the forbidden union between fallen angels and mortal women, creating a race of hybrids. Towering over humans, they devoured everything available to them, and when food ran out, they began to consume human flesh.
